Intro Week: Dicover Identity

How we see ourselves is formed by many influences – our family, friends, enemies, influencers, and the world at large. These affect how we form our identity. The Bible says that we are not to conform to this world. Our worldly identity is not how God views us.

As we grow in the Lord, God will form and shape us into the man/woman He wants us to be. God’s identity of us aligns with His plan and purpose for us. Sometimes, it will also be accompanied by a name (i.e. Jacob to Isaac). We will study Jesus’ Beatitudes and discuss how this outlines our step-by-step Christian development. Our goal with this series is to know our identity, plan, and purpose in God
