Week Two: Be Sad & Be Humble

Next, we should view our pre-Christian life and practices with sadness. Be sad about the fallen world and the depravity of mankind. We should challenge people to have compassion toward others who do not know Christ. The Bible tells us we should be a new person and leave behind our sinful ways. Realizing who God is and what God has done in our lives should humble us. Remove worldly passions and surrender them to God. Tame my flesh.
